LiveTalk: Implementing Sensory Modulation Strategies in Mental Health Settings
Individuals with mental health concerns and those who have experienced trauma frequently demonstrate difficulties with sensory processing related to self-regulation. Most often this encompasses problems with sensory modulation. This month’s LiveTalk will discuss the importance of understanding how sensory modulation problems and neuromodulation difficulties are reflected in interventions for individuals with a variety of mental health concerns from children to adulthood and across practice settings. The Sensory Modulation Program developed by Dr. Champagne will be discussed.
