Hoof and Horn by Ian Corrigan ACE LLC
Throughout the ages, the people of the British Isles have celebrated the passing of the seasons with song, drink, and revelry. Even today, in the holiday songs of Christmas and Easter, the echos of that ancient tradition forged in the cauldron of the Old religion can be heard. As the Wheel of the Year turned they celebrated the aspects of the gods, the sowing and the Harvest, and the sleeping and awakening of Nature as the days grew short or long. This is track 12 from the Ian Corrigan workshop recorded live by ACE LLC. An experience of learning and singing.
