These pleasant, caring counselees appear to be models of humble servers. They have been diligently sensitive to be their brother’s keeper, and they desire loving, calm, unified relationships. Yet, they come in wondering why they are so frustrated when they are consistently seeking God’s ways. We will be discussing the covert pitfalls of these counselees, including the problems of trusting in self and fearing man. Following only part of the counsel of God, they have overlooked essential aspects of His whole counsel. Therefore, our job is to declare to them the gracious, balanced, WHOLE counsel of God.
