Appalachian Spring - Brass Choir and Percussion
This is a Brass Choir version of "Appalachian Spring" originally composed by Aaron Copeland and more recently made famous by the Musical "Blast" This arrangement is inspired by the "Blast" version but done for concert band brass and percussion. This is moderately difficult. The Instrumentation includes: 4 trumpets, 2 flugelhorns, 3 horns, 3 alto saxes, Euphonium/Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, 4 trombones, 2 Tubas, and four percussion parts with a piano/organ part as a sub for the mallet percussion. Very playable and inspiring.
Be sure to download the sample score and an audio sample of the original blast version.
There is a Traditional Brass Choir only without percussion available here.
And a smaller brass choir version here.
