The Hills and Coves, Harp
I composed The Hills and Coves while completing my internship to become a Certified Clinical Musician. I provided therapeutic harp sessions to dementia and palliative care patients in a long-term care facility. Each piece is a reflection upon the special people for whom I played with further inspiration coming from the beautiful and sometimes surprising ways that music can touch people in need.
I play these selections on my small therapy harp tuned to C. Four or the pieces require an F sharp lever, three need no levers at all and one will need full levers, but I have provided two versions depending on whether you tune to C or E Flat. There are no lever changes in any of the pieces.
