The Rich and poor unit is another excellent resource not just to introduce the key issues but as a source of those essential maps and graph geography teaching always needs. The single theme of who has what is a very useful starting point to social geography studies at all scales from local to global. I also used this and the Population presentation as GCSE resources. Use with the Rich and Poor, Development and Poverty and Health Differentiated Homeworks. Assess learning and understanding using the Revise and Test presentations included.
3 lesson units – divided world, indicators and quality of life.
