Handwriting Practice Printable Workbook (PreK-1st Grade)
Young children need practice to learn to write. A good start is to trace alphabets and words. This workbook consists of three parts:
Part #1 - capital or upper case alphabet letters for handwriting practice. This is to get them familiar on how to write and recognize upper case letters.
Part #2 - upper and lower case letters for handwriting practice. Children learn to recognize and associate upper and lower case letters as they trace these alphabets. A picture with word correspond to the respective alphabet letter is included on the same page. It helps children to associate letter with word and picture.
Part #3 - learn to spell by tracing word. Note that the word and picture are the same as in part #2. The consistency helps to reinforce word and picture association.
Let kids color the workbook after completing handwriting practice. Coloring serves to develop young children fine motor skills and train them to have better grip for handwriting.
