Happy Feet Foot Massage
Happy Feet Foot Massage - method and fully illustrated manual - by Rosemary Phillips
This effective method of foot massge using reflexology, massage and natural healing techniques has benefitted hundreds of people, from children to the elderly, from athletes to the infirm. The benefits are many: relaxation, restored circulation, ease of movement, and so much more, but mostly Happy Feet! This simple, fully illustrated manual shows how to give a Happy Feet Foot Massage effectively and confidently, much like taking a mini-workshop.
This method was developed from Rosemary's 3o-plus years as a reflexologist and while volunteering on the "Great Walk", a 64 km (40 mile) challenge, the longest fund-raising walkathon, on back-country logging roads from Gold River to Tahsis on Vancouver Island. Rosemary stationed herself and several lawn chairs at Station 8, 46 kms along the route. To accommodate achey tired feet and the many tired walkers it was necessary to develop a 'quick' massage method to get those walkers back on the road and complete the remaining 18 kilometres to the finish line.
The method worked and the greatest reward for Rosemary was to hear walkers say, "Thank you for your help. I wouldn't have made it without your foot massage." Since then the method has also been used to accompany courses in reflexology, and to provide comfort for many.
