About this item:
High On A Hilltop is the very first song I recorded in
my basement studio. I had the band and crew over for a cookout and
was showing them the new equipment. I had all the instruments
laying around and had the drums mic d up. So, they all sat down and started noodling
around. I suggested we record something, and this is what we came up with.
No charts. A couple of the band guys hadn t ever heard the song
before. This was one of my Grandpa
Diffie s favorite songs. (not necessarily this version) In fact, I sang this
song at his funeral. It was really tough to get through it, but I was glad
to be able to honor him with it.
