Self-help Anxiety Programme Data only
Self-help Anxiety Prevention programme consisting of 28 files: This is a selection of self-help exercises that you can work through in your own time. These have been tried and tested by our clients over many years and found to be very helpful.
They are quite simple and self-explanatory, remember, there are no right or wrong answers to the questions, they are designed purely to help you analyse the way you think, find solutions to problems and help you to make positive changes to your thought processes where needed.
You will also find lots of useful facts and information sheets that have been collected together for easy-reading. These have also proved to be most useful to our clients as they help explain the different types of Anxiety Disorders and their symptoms.
The separate folder called “Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-Changing your thoughts and feelings” is aimed at using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy techniques to log down your daily thoughts and the unwanted and unpleasant feelings negative thoughts can create. By challenging your automatic negative thoughts (ANTs), looking for evidence to support or dispute them and looking for more rational, logical explanations for those things that that cause you distress, you will be able to begin to change the cycle of Automatic Negative Thoughts and eradicate them altogether.
As result of this analyses and the changes you make, you will feel less anxious, more emotionally stable, happier, more confident, and more relaxed, and becoming your own therapist is very rewarding and empowering.
