In this 40-minute video seminar entitled “Two Faces of Fermentation and Chronic Disease Seminar,” Professor Majid Ali discusses the causes, signs and symptoms, clinical course, and consequences of two forms of fermentations in the body: (1) overgrowth of fermenting microbes in the various segments of the alimentary tract; and (2) metabolic fermentative shift in the various tissues of the body. His describes his studies in 1980s and 1990s, that lead to his discovery and characterization of respiratory-to-fermentative shift in cellular metabolism, which provides the scientific basis of his oxygen models of diseases and oxygen protocols for reversing chronic disease.
