Small Bowel Fermentation State Seminar by Professor Majid Ali
In this 35-minute Small Bowel Fermentation State Seminar, Professor Majid Ali discusses small bowel fermentation state as an extension of: (1) overgrowth of fermenting microbes in the colon from below and from the stomach above; and (2) metabolic fermentative shift in the tissues of the small bowel. As for the treatment, he underscores the importance of an integrative approach which detects and addresses factors tat cause fermentation in the colon and the stomach. The extended use of antibiotics, in his view, is best avoided in most cases.
For a deeper study of the subject, he recommends other seminars in his “Fermentation and Chronic Diseases Series,” which can be downloaded from www.aliacademy.org .
