Composer: Jeremiah Clarke (c.1674 - 1707)
Forces: String or reed band

1st act tune - 2nd act tune - 4th act tune

Conceived for strings, but also suitable for wind bands. Three act tunes, surviving in manuscript, from a lost play by Thomas Durfey, 1696. The First Act Tune bears more than a passing resemblance to the tune of the song "How stands the glass around?", a favourite of General Wolfe and sung at Quebec the night before his death (also available in notAmos).

Strings (Vn.Vn.Va.Vc.): score, parts, and cover page: 0.00 euro for unlimited copies
