"Chickens and Noodles" is lap- or crib-sized quilt, approximately 41" X 50", featuring adorable baby chick blocks, called "Beeks", in a colorful setting. The "Beeks" block design is easy to piece from fat-eighths and fat-quarters, and the simple quilt layout makes this pattern suitable for a beginning to intermediate quilter. The size and ease of assembly of this quilt make it ideal for a child's quilt, crib quilt, or charity quilt. When tied as shown in the cover photo, it also makes a wonderful prayer quilt. Since the friendly Beeks blocks bring to mind Easter and springtime, this quilt can also be used as vibrant seasonal throw or wallhanging. "Chickens and Noodles" is the first design in the "Beeks" quilt series. A portion of the sale price of every pattern sold goes to The Lily Fund, to help fund research into pediatric brain cancer.
