Don’t Push Me was written by Coyote during his brief marriage to Raquel from Mexico City in 1986. As a compromise, to improve their marriage, Coyote quite the movie business and went to work in a maximum security prison for an entire year. Don’t Push Me is about one of the carpentry foremen who would cuss and yell at his crew. Coyote wouldn’t accept or allow him to yell at him.
