Our product, Tags of Time, is sequential activities that help a child’s comprehension of the chapter they just read.  It is a collection of tags, one for every chapter. On each tag, the child places a chapter number, the chapter title, and a graphic image that pertains to an event in that chapter. All these things can be placed randomly and/or creatively by the child. There are colored strips with events that must be placed in the order of occurrence. The placement of these strips strengths a child’s memory and comprehension of their reading. Use with older children as an accountability for their reading, or with younger children to learn to follow a timeline of events within a book. Tags of Time is a wonderful way to fuse together creativity and accountability in a reading program.
