Rocky Shore Sounds
Rocky Shore Sounds © was recorded on a hot summer morning on a wilderness rocky shore. Perfect for ambience, relaxation or meditation, it is a detailed recording which includes a variety of waves spalshing on rocks. The listener becomes emmersed in the recording, not only noticing the spray landing on nearby rocks, but also the distant surf sounds from further down the shoreline.
The recording focusses on the cool refreshing water sounds, one may also hear the occasional bird call back in the background. As well, A loon flies by overhead, and a pair of seagulls pass by once. Those are the exceptions - a reminder that there is solid ground under our feet. The water is so alive and active, always changing, and so full of exuberance, that one's mind tends to get carried away on it, as if in a boat. (if you use headphones)
Rocky Shore Sounds © features a long 10 second fade-in at the beginning and a slow fade-out at the end so there are no sudden disturbing interruptions when played looped. Rocky Shore Sounds © is a natural soundscape composed of edited digital stereo quasi-binaural field recordings. This recording technique produces a 3 dimensional audio image when listening with headphones. Encoded at a bitrate of 192 kps for quality listening. Every moment of this recording is unique and true to its natural occurrence. There are no loops.
