In 1997 Dane Reid and his
brother Mari Roberts launched their ambitions with the hip hop parody
album “Dane Dawg- Can’t We All Just Get Along.” The album is a raw
album recorded on an analog four track recorder and pokes fun at
California “Gangstas” at the height of the East Coast and West Coast
feud which killed rappers Biggie and Tupac. Dane Dawg was a
neighborhood hit which ignited the brothers passions for their
respective crafts Dane as a writer and voice talent and Mari as a
producer and singer.

The brothers teamed up one year later in 1998 to develop their creative
skills with the “West Side Disconnection” mixtape project entitled “We
Bang Forever” poking fun of the “Wu Tang Forever” album title. This
time Dane Dawg brought along his crew to attack not only the East and
West Coasts but Down South Bass music, and everything else from popular
culture and news events of the times to a variety of issues addressing
sexual perversions and preferences. “We Bang Forever” is a racy hit not
suitable for the easily offended.

Now both projects are available for the first time to the general public.
