This is a California Application with Supporting Petition and Declaration to seal Juvenile criminal records in the CA Superior Courts.

Your juvenile conviction records do not get sealed automatically.  You have a right to have them sealed, but you need to ask for it. You need to apply to get them sealed after your probation or the Juvi court jurisdiction ends (after your 18th birthday).

You can hire an attorney to do the work for you. Or you can do it yourself. You can get this form, fill it out, and send a copy to the Probation Department Record Sealing Clerk and a Copy to the Court Clerk for the Juvenile Department to get it done.

You can file this attorney drafted form as it in any California Superior Court Juvenile Division (and Probation Department at the same time).  It can be used as is, or as a basis for your own ideas.

Includes simple instructions.

It is based on CA Welfare and Institutions Code sect 781, and comes with EZ detailed instructions. The legal work is done for you.  Basically, just add your facts, call the Probation Department (or Court Clerk of the juvenile division) to find out the current fiing fee, and get it filed (in person is best, mailing possible).

"I wrote this form to help a person work on improving their job opportunities after juvenile trouble. It is the exact same template I would use if you hired me to do this work. I will answer your legit email questions about filing this form for free." - Attorney Christopher Dort
